Evaluations
The RAO II differs from the older RAO in that it has a drop point blade instead of the original tanto shape. In addition, the shape is more rounded which improves the ergonomics.
The RAO 2 has a locking mechanism and an additional safety mechanism in the form of a manual steel pin that can be screwed on. The sheath fulfills the military M.O.L.L.E. requirements and comes with a diamond sharpener. There is also a ridge stick on the scabbard to light the campfire, lighting, etc.
The RAO can be folded into the sheath and stored in the case when unfolded. This knife was developed on behalf of the ' 185 ° RAO.
